I am DJ, producer, and cultural organizer based in NYC. As a DJ, I explore genres with Black roots - connecting past, present, and future through energetic and eclectic sets. My sets evoke, move, and expand the audience's perception of music. As a cultural organizer, I founded Carbon Sound in 2022 - a public radio station based in St. Paul, Minnesota dedicated to showcasing the depth and breadth of Black music and its foundational role in the canon of American music. I also founded The Vanguard, an online music stream and social media platform highlighting local hip-hop and R&B artists in the Twin Cities, during my time at the University of Minnesota's student-run station Radio K.
